Team SSC is a powerful combination of world-class
companies teamed to capture the U.S. Navy's Ship to Shore
Connector. The goal is to replace the current Landing Craft
Air Cushion—LCAC—with a lower-cost, higher-availability,
next-generation platform. The team consists of Marinette
Marine Corporation, Lockheed Martin Corporation, GE Marine,
Oceaneering and Griffon Hoverwork. Together, they are prepared
to deliver a vessel capable of unparalleled performance
for lowest total ownership cost.
