Co-founded ST Tissue and ST Paper through the purchase and turnaround of a paper mill in Oconto Falls, WI in 2007 and subsequent acquisition of idle mill assets in Franklin, VA from International Paper in 2012.<\/span><\/p>\n Previously, Mr. Tak grew his first business, ST Systems Corporation, a provider of programing and systems integration services to government agencies, to $70 million in sales with 1,100 employees. Mr. Tak sold STX to Hughes Aircraft in 1991.<\/span><\/p>\n Mr. Tak\u2019s other ventures around the world include E-Com Systems, which develops and implements advanced approaches to conduct business-to-business transactions online and Nam International, which operates three luxury properties inBermuda.<\/span><\/p>\n Past ventures include ST Power Systems, which built and operated a 250-megawatt thermal power plant in India; Orange Technologies, a global provider of IT solutions to government agencies; and Tak Communications, a group of nine network affiliated television stations and three FM radio stations.<\/span><\/p>\n Undergraduate degree in electrical engineering from ITT Mumbai and M.S. in Computer Science from the University of Buffalo.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div><\/div><\/div> Prior to ST LNG, through his role as Managing Director of FLNG Development, New Fortress Energy, Alap conceptualized and executed FAST LNG program involving multiple liquefaction trains on various marine infrastructures from 2021-2024.
