Morgan City, LA: Conrad Shipyard of Morgan City, Louisiana (OTC Pink Sheets: CNRD.PK) announced today that it has been awarded a contract to build two (2) 3,000HP ocean service tugboats for Harley Marine Services of Seattle, Washington. The two new vessels will be 100-feet in length, with a beam of 34\u2019 and a molded depth of 15\u20193\u201d. They will be powered by Caterpillar 3512C Tier 4 A-Rated Diesel Marine Engines, and equipped with two Caterpillar C4.4 99Kw@1800RPM generators. The tug design was developed by Entech Designs, LLC. The first hull is scheduled for delivery in the fourth quarter of 2018, and the second hull is scheduled to be delivered in the first quarter of 2019. Harley Marine Services provides marine transportation services in every major U.S. West Coast port as well as in Alaska, New York and the Gulf of Mexico. In addition, the company provides tank storage and product transfer, ship assist, rescue and general towing services. Conrad has previously delivered nineteen vessels to Harley and currently has three under construction.
